From medical care to population health

SCARLETRED partnered up with this year’s IDC Health Forum

International Data Corporation’s (IDC) latest predictions are for a completely transformed healthcare sector in just a few years: digital access to healthcare services and patient health data, use of artificial intelligence (AI), SmartWatch-based apps, sensor and language-centric health data collection, real-world evidence (RWE), orchestration of healthcare providers etc. These are just a few of the exciting developments that will be impacting the healthcare sector over the coming years.

This opens up completely new paths and opportunities for the entire spectrum from health care to population health, the latter creating completely new approaches and impacts through innovative population analytics, an integrated patient journey, and patient engagement. How do these aspects of digitization in practice affect a country like Austria? Which international best practices can stimulate our own growth? Which solutions are currently available and what technological and organizational developments can we expect in the near future? Where do we want to go? Where do we have to go?

IDC aims to shed light on these and other questions at the 2nd IDC Health Forum on November 21, 2019 and SCARLETRED will actively contribute to that discussion as an event partner. Our CEO Harald Schnidar is a speaker at this event and he will talk about the ways SCARLETRED contributes to digitization of the health sector.

Where: Park Hyatt Vienna
When: November 21, 2019
